The Limestone Bay Round had been on my list of challenges for a number of years, the timing and weather were right so a last minute decision the night before was made to give it a crack.
Setting off into the dark along the shoreline under the stars was ace, sadly the plan to keep dry feet for as long as possible only last about 100m.
The sun was soon up and it was a stunning day with blue skies and sunshine. The run went well other than a bit of time wandering around in the dark trying to find the Heald Brow cairn.
The bonus at the end was to be finished in time to go to the chip shop!
